Dr. Belani graduated from University of Bombay in 1971. After that, he went on for graduate training in Periodontics at Nair Hospital Dental College. He has been on faculty of University of Illinois College of Dentistry in department of Periodontics since 1974. He received his fellowship from Academy of General Dentistry in 1990. He is a member of many dental associations; some of them including the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Fox River Valley Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a past president of Indian Dental Association. Dr. Belani’s goal is to help people have and keep beautiful smiles. He is passionate about staying current with continuing education to ensure that his patients receive the best possible care. His hobbies are traveling, sports, and reading. He has two children who are also dentists.

Dr. Khare graduated from the direct dentistry program at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011. She grew up in the nearby town of Naperville. Dr. Khare has a real passion for the dental profession. She keeps up-to-date with the newest developments and technologies by taking continuing education courses and attending dental forums. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and American Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Khare focuses on comprehensive oral care while keeping all her patients’ desires and needs in mind. When she isn’t working at Aurora Dentrix, Dr. Khare likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Dr. Karan graduated from Northern Illinois University with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. He then attended Indiana University school of dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. As a dentist Dr. Karan is really passionate about the dental profession and loves interacting with his patients. He makes it his main priority to carefully understand his patient’s oral health care needs to help them achieve a smile they have always dreamed of. He also focuses a lot on educating his patients to achieve optimum oral health, and stays current with the upcoming technological advancements so as to provide quality oral health care. Dr. Karan is a member of American Dental association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois state dental society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In his free time Dr. Karan loves to travel, play sports, snowboard and hang out with friends and family.

Dr. Purvi Vakil is an Illinois board-certified dentist. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree from UCLA in Psychology and Biology and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of the Pacific, San Francisco. She chose dentistry because she values patient interaction, science, and technology. Dr. Vakil enjoys working with patients to restore their oral health and function and hopes to transform the future of healthcare with a focus on a dental experience full of compassion, integrity, and skill. She is Invisalign Certified and currently participates in continuing education courses in all aspects of general dentistry: technological advancements in dentistry, patient comfort, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. She is also working on obtaining a fellowship track with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Vakil is involved with various organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Association, The Dawson Academy, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters traveling, staying active, and cooking.

Dr. Kapil Vij is originally from India and immigrated to the US at the age of 16. He attended Glenbrook South in Glenview where he graduated cum laude and was awarded first place overall and second place state science olympiad. Dr. Vij was awarded the Roger Adams Scholarship in Chemistry, Distinction in Research and a Deans List during his bachelor of science in Biology. Dr. Vij completed his specialty training of Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2007 at Jacksonville University. He is currently on staff with UIC as Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Vij consistently demonstrates thoroughness and keen diagnostic acumen throughout all aspects of dental patient care. He continues his education by teaching residents at the University of Illinois, which keeps him challenged, which he particularly likes. During dental school, Dr. Vij was the recipient of numerous academic awards. These awards include the prestigious status of distinctive awards such as the Oral Maxillofacial Radiology Award, American Society of Dentistry for Children Award, and the American Dental Association - Caulk/Dentsply Research Award. When he is not working, Dr. Vij works out at the gym and plays soccer and tennis.

Dr. Nana was born in South Africa and moved to the Northwest Indiana when she was 10 years old. She completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN (Go Hoosiers!) and then obtained her Dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2013. She then moved to Illinois following dental school and she and her family currently reside in Naperville, IL. She has been practicing in the Aurora/Oswego area ever since. Dr. Nana believes in providing comprehensive and quality dental care in a reliable, professional, and comfortable way. To Dr. Nana, dentistry is more than just about taking care of her patients' mouths and oral hygiene education, it's also about building wonderful relationships with her patients and helping them become more confident. Dr. Nana is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. Committed to providing the best care possible for her patients, Dr. Nana completes numerous hours of continuing education per year. When Dr. Nana is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys doing yoga, reading, traveling, and attempting to be crafty.

Dr. Patel earned her dental degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove and is committed to providing compassionate, patient centered care. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, staying involved in organized dentistry and continuing education. Outside of the office, Dr. Patel loves to travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with her dog Leo! She’s passionate about creating a welcoming environment for her patients and helping them feel confident in their smiles and health!

Dr. Shilpa Naren graduated with a DMD degree from University of Illinois at Chicago. She previously attained a Bachelor in dental science (BDS) degree from India in 2005. She is friendly, approachable and will take time to answer all your questions. She takes special interest in cosmetic dentistry to improve your smile, self confidence. Her goal is to provide her patients the highest care possible and restoring that perfect smile. She enjoys all phases of dentistry and comfortable treating patients of all ages. She is active member of American dental association, Illinois State dental society, Chicago dental Society. Dr. Shilpa lives in Naperville with her Husband and two kids and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends. Fluent in English, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi. She is looking forward to meeting you and your family.

Dr. Imam received her dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. She has 15+ years of experience with all aspects of General Dentistry, including root canals, extractions, orthodontic or aligner treatment, and periodontal treatment. She enjoys treating children and adults of all ages. Patient comfort and healthcare are most important to her and she strives to assure each one of her patients are provided quality care. Dr. Imam takes time to help you understand your oral health while taking a comprehensive and conservative approach to address your treatment needs and wants. When she is not practicing, Dr. Imam loves spending time with her husband and children.

Dr. Shaban was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a dentist, Dr. Shaban is passionate about delivering high-quality dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. She makes it a priority to listen and understand each patient’s unique needs so she can help them achieve a healthy smile they are proud of. Dedicated to excellence, she stays up to date with the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry to ensure the highest standard of care. Dr. Shaban is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shaban enjoys exercising, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with her family and her cat.

Dr. Yoselin Toledo was born and raised in Lombard, IL, and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Toledo is devoted to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is eager to continue growing her clinical knowledge through continued education. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Toledo values the ability to connect with a diverse patient base and ensure that all individuals feel understood and comfortable in the dental chair. Outside the office, she enjoys bike riding, running, reading, and traveling. She also enjoys trying new restaurants around the city with her friends and family!
